Music education is not seen as a high priority. Consequently many schools have no qualified music teachers, learners have little meaningful music educational experiences and students enter the methodology course with little or no background in music.This partnership with a (predominantly Muslim)school, Johannesburg,aimed at a creative, practical way to fast track student music teaching skills.
