The Study of Supporting Factors for Motivating and Developing into Entrepreneurs for Technical Students

The economic development of Thailand is concerned in a part of joint venture, especially in industry, with foreign countries. Promotion of Thai people to be entrepreneurs is one form of the technology possessions. The vocational education maintains one set of the educational policies for training to train the technical students to become future entrepreneurs. Unfortunately, it has not put into practice clearly. This may be a cause of dull. The purposes of this study were to verify the supporting factors for motivating and developing technical students at technical college into future entrepreneurs, finding out suggestions for input motivation and examining the inputs motivation of entrepreneurship to fulfillment entrepreneurs for technical students. The sample size pf 306 person was taken from administrators and instructors of technical colleges and 40 samples were taken among auto-mechanical students. The results showed that there are seven suppurating factors as follows Philosophy and policy of intuition, Curriculum of entrepreneurship studies, Education management and college administration, Roles of teachers, Entrepreneurship activities, Students, and Entrepreneurs concerning to motivating in collages. The comparison between administrators and instructors on supporting factors was found that six factors were a significantly difference at level of 0.05 and 0.01 except the roles of teachers. The corrections of supporting factors were found that there were high relationships. The employing of factor analysis revealed that the seven supporting factors were closely rates to each other in importance. There were eleven ways to develop the entrepreneurship competencies for technical students. The test of student for fulfillment of entrepreneurship by motivators who come from entrepreneurs was found that the pretest and posttest showed significantly difference at a level of 0.01. For entrepreneurship development for technical students, the seven supporting and eleven ways had to been emphasized on as well.

He received Bachelor of Engineering (Production Engineering) and Bachelor of Industrial Education (Production Engineering),both from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Thonburi. He also graduated in Master of Science in Mechanical Technology from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology North Bangkok, Thailand. He is member of Production and Operation Management Society (POMS), USA, Council of Engineering, Thailand, and Lead External Assessor of the Office for National Education Standard and Quality Assessment, Thailand.
